NIGHT ON BROADWAY CABARET

Auditions for Foundry Theatre’s First Annual "Night on Broadway" Cabaret will be on Tuesday, February 18th from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 20th from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Foundry42+ in Port Jervis. Please contact Mandy at Mandy@f42home.com to schedule an audition time. All ages are welcome to audition! What is "Night on Broadway" ? It is a one weekend only celebration of musical theater through the decades featuring the best of broadway performed by the areas top local talent, as well as a few featured special guests! The performances will be on May 29th and a special scholarship fundraiser show on the May 30th at 7 p.m., and May 31st at 2 p.m. Rehearsals will be scheduled a few times  per week, not all performers will be needed at all rehearsals. We will do our best to work around conflicts, but ultimately, they may affect casting.

WHAT TO BRING: Please prepare 1  up-tempo and/or 1 ballad song that you would be interested in performing at the cabaret. Please also bring a track that you can sing to (speakers will be available). You can also submit your track when making your audition time, and we will have it loaded for you for your audition. Audition songs will help create the set, so please audition with the song you would most like to perform! Please also come prepared with a few other song ideas you may be interested in performing. (You will not need to audition with them, just to give us an idea of your interests.)

GROUPS ARE WELCOME! If you plan to do a duet or small group, please plan to audition with your duet or small group. Auditions will be on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive promptly at 7. You are welcome to bring a resume with you as well as a headshot, but they are not required.

IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND IN PERSON: Please send 2 video recordings-one uptempo and one ballad- to mandy@f42home.com. Online auditions are due by Friday, February 21st.  Please include your name, and any conflicts you may have for rehearsals in March and April. QUESTIONS?
