Class Description:Explore the strange and fascinating world of nature!! Practice story construction, character development, and performance skills through ensemble exercises that activate your actor’s tools: body, voice, and imagination. In this session, students will learn dramatic movement and characterization through activities centered around the world around them. They will create their own characters based on exotic plants, and rehearse and perform two short plays, “The Selfish Giant,” by Oscar Wilde, and “La Mariposa,” an original script based on a Spanish folktale.
