ME TOO QUILT STITCHING
The Me Too Quilt is the brainchild of Cooper Boone, with the mission to bring together visual stories of our collective pain and healing. Cooper is a survivor of clergy abuse and seeks to be a conduit for healing and creativity. “I was a very young man in the height of the AIDS epidemic and vividly recall the profound healing that transpired from the AIDS Quilt. The Me Too Quilt seeks to create the same healing through visual storytelling,” he shares.

Anyone can submit for themselves or on the behalf of others. All you have to do is create a 10 inch by 10 inch panel of a cloth and/or yarn based square (sorry, no paper) which represents your Me Too story.  Send it to us and we will attach it to the other panels as we build our collective story. Each panel will also be shared on Instagram and Facebook @MeTooQuilt .

Every Tuesday night from 6-8 pm at Foundry42 in Port Jervis, New York, volunteers from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and beyond meet to stitch together the panels.
