Come cook with Chef Cooper Boone and learn advanced cooking techniques that will elevate your child to the next level! Professional instruction will cover the following sample topics:
• Knife skills (ex. chop, julienne, dice, brunoise, batonnet)
• Bread baking (ex. flatbreads, focaccias)
• Sauces (ex. beurre blanc, creole, marinaras)
• Food handling, allergens, dietary restrictions
• Specific cooking techniques (ex. braising, roasting, searing)
• Measurements and conversions
• Table top, food styling and presentation
• Etiquette and service
We will provide knives and cutting boards. Each child must come in their own chefs coat.
Hair must be pulled back neatly, and students are required to wear closed-toe shoes.
$50.00 per class | $300 for the 6 week block. Limited to only 8 students per session
Refunds are not offered. Thank you for understanding.
*All students must have completed a minimum of 3 general cooking courses with Cooper (or elsewhere) before being accepted into the advanced class.
